Dangerous Dave today had his head examined at Dollby City after reportedly making noises without making much sense.

On close inspection it was discovered that his head was cracked and he was promptly whisked to the operating table for mending with glue.

‘It’s odd’ said a bystander. ‘He never really did have a way with words, but the rattling on just had us all wondering. At least he is now mended and has reported back for work.’

It is not known how the damage occured, it could simply be a poor fibre glass join, but rumours suggest it could be something to do with Dave’s secret drinking habits.

‘He was very excited about his last contract, reportedly worth almost 50 Monopoly Dollars,’ said a Mannakin spokesperson. Thankfully he didn’t get too carried away, but we should support Dave and pursuade him to take more care.’
