There was a lot of commotion today as Dobbin the racehorse arrived at Mannakin. Freshly groomed, shod and looking his best, he was admired by all of the collection currently home at Mannakin. In fact, there was quite some argument over who was going to ‘wear’ him first, but each dummy was told to be patient and wait their turn. Here is a photo of him during his shoot, handled by Bruce and new boy, Simon.

Dobbin is an original pantomime horse, but apparantly, according to his previous owner - you shouldn’t mention that too loudly as he believes he is a top quality racehorse with stamina and strength has a genuine chance at the next Grand National in 2009. We will just have to see how his training goes and whether he will be fit enough to try.
