Lady Gaga at Shangri La

Undoubtedly the most talented artist at this years Glastonbury Festival was Lady Gaga. How honoured we were to see her appear live on stage with our mannequins.

We are back after a successful trip with the mannequins to Glastonbury Festival. Not only did they stand on stage for the duration, they also appeared with Lady Gaga – when she did her secret gig at Club Dada, Shangri La. We were delighted as she announced how much she enjoyed performing with the mannequins. Kelvin Clone even had his privates fondled by her! (He is now charging double his usual hire fee!) Some pre photos here, with more to follow shortly.

Patina-V Female Torso’s

If you have been reading our blog regularly, then recently you would have seen the inside of the Patina-V factory in New York. Patina-V is often seen as a pioneer in mannequin design – turning out quality models. We have old ones and new ones in our collection, but these stunning display torso’s or busts with their hands in meditation pose are beautiful. Their moulds seem to go one step further in the production process, making them true works of art all by themselves. We have a collection of approximately 20 of these models available to hire. Please contact us for more info.

Designed by Ralph Pucci

We have just acquired a fantastic collection of mannequins, created by designer Ralph Pucci. We are really please to have this collection, known as ‘MANIKIN’. The finish is called ‘foundry’ and they look like they are carved from stone. More pictures as we upload them can be found here.

Nicko The Scariest Mannakin

We were rather hoping that by putting scary face Nicko outside our house on Friday night (Halloween) that we would have a night of peace from trick or treaters, but in fact, they loved him and we had more visitors than usual!

Herbie Goes Wild About Norfolk

Here are a few pics of Herbie Hyde, the new model for Hyde Definition, on his first professional booking at the Wild About Norfolk natural history and conservation fair, held at Notcutts in Norwich. He attended with the rest of his family, and was proud to wear the final pre-production Pioneer style uniform in our signature PenCott camouflage. Another mannequin was spotted lurking around at the show, but she was soon caught by the Police in the act of removing an Eagle Owl from an illegal trap. I am happy to confirm that absolutely no fraternisation occurred between the two.
